Do You Enjoy Speaking Before A Group?

Or do you get nervous?

Don't worry, Toastmasters is the cure!

Toastmasters International was established in 1924 for the specific purpose of building speaking confidence and leadership abilities.

Why Toastmasters?

Toastmasters gives its members the opportunity to:

  •  Learn and practice techniques of effective public speaking.
  •  Gain speaking experience that relates to specific career needs or job searches.
  •  Sharpen listening and evaluation skills
  •  Gain valuable leadership management experience
  •  Gain personal confidence that will enable members to effectively communicate with one person or one thousand

How Does Toastmasters Help To Do This?

At each meeting everyone has the opportunity to practice their speaking skills. Whether it is by a five-to-eight minute prepared speech, a two minute impromptu speech, or by taking part at one of the roles of the meeting.

Constructive evaluations are the heart of Toastmasters learning-by-doing program. In addition, evaluators tend to improve their listening skills.
